I have set up a server running Big Blue Button and it is available now to the community to test out. Use it as you like only request I have is to tell others and you must teach for free for now. This is for Opensource applications like Blender [...]

I have tried to click the link for December schedule but it keeps sending me to this leave a reply page.
Is there another way to view next months schedule or is this just a broken link?
    Thanks :)

  2. jumpaholic says:

    Thanks Mutleee,

We’re aware of the problem and working on a fix. It will be fixed soon.

  3. Mutleee says:

Are you charging for the tutorials now???

  4. dipingo says:

Mutleee, Some classes will be a “pay for” class. But I will be adding a bunch of free ones for the month of December very soon.

I am lining up new instructors every day. :)

I would like to sign up for the December 8th class but I do not see where you do this at. Also, once you are signed up, where do you view the class at.

  6. dipingo says:

Twazny, You will get an email the day of the class with a link. Then you follow the link and JOIN. The is a video on the process under how to sign up for classes.

For a first class I’m very excited about what’s to come next from Blenducation. I’ve been using Blender for about a year now and the community shows support for just about everyone no matter what their level of knowledge Blenducation is proof of that.
I look forward to registering for my next class.
    Thanks again!!

  8. shopbrat says:

I signed up for the class held on 12/12/08 but I never received an email with the link to join the class.

  9. forthfriend says:

Are we going to do some advanced tutorials too? Like advanced mesh making? Maybe modeling a character? That would be a dream come true for me…

  10. Kunlun Khan says:

Is there a class today or the last class was the last one I attended?
My calendar shows today is 17, a class programmed, however the description said it was yeasterday, thus already attending it :)

  11. Krayzie says:

Any chance we can get some GMT friendly lessons? 2:30am is a little late!

    Cheers.

  12. dipingo says:

Krayzie, Yes we are working on getting more instructors covering more time zones. Please hang in there, it will be worth the wait.

  13. Krayzie says:

    Excellent, thank you.

I signed up for the Yafray class, in on place, it says it starts at noon and another place says 8PM. It is now 11:43 and I have not received my email for the class as of yet. Should I assume that the correct time is 8pm tonight?

  15. banor says:

Does the calendar work on a monthly basis, or will it span to the next month as well? Right now, for instance, would be an excellent time to show next month’s schedule, as the only class I am interested in is the BGE one and it’s already filled. Anyhow, it’s a suggestion. Thank you for all your hard work, David!

I love what you are doing with this. The only problem is what about people going to school, kids and all that other fun stuff that just doesn’t allow you to have a permanent schedule. Is there any way that you could post these tutorials, so that us people that don’t have a permanent schedule can get to them when they have finally have a gap in the day we can watch them? And be able to stop rewind and watch them again. It also seems that people on different time zones would also like to watch them also.

  17. goeland86 says:

We’re recording the classes as video sessions. We’re then posting the links to already passed classes. Check out the yafray post, there’s a link in there to watch the video of the demo screen on it.

  18. koots2 says:

I signed up for the class on 1.27.09 but I have not received an email with the join information. How do I join? -5 GMT is east coast time… Right???

  19. Leemstradamus says:

This looks cool, I just signed up but I don’t see any classes for introduction this weekend. Is there a way to download them so I can get caught up. I have to be at work at the time of the classes this week.

  20. pajo says:

    Hello every one.

I am, probably, the most ancient Blenducation pupil so to speak, I have been around from the first class and I remember that day (night for me… more like morning) that i was the only one signed up, this fact did not affect the joy in giving the class, on the contrary, dipingo concentrated the whole class in my necessities and since I am not properly an noob – http://pajo-documentario.blogspot.com/ – dipingo did not even hesitate in satisfying my expectations (making a full of luck dude out of me).
This is just to say what i found out – here the word education assumes his true meaning. Thank you Dipingo :)
    So:
For the ones who comes for the 1st time it is absolutely recommended this tuturial – http://dipingo.org/TutVideos/IntroUI/IntroUI.html – (under fast-track) and I guarantee that is the only thing one’s need to feel at home.

Welcome all and see you all inclass ;)
